The Hammerfall game is a role playing game that is hosted on the MySpace platform. That means that in order to play the game, you have to be a member of the social networking site – MySpace. All you need to do is to create an account. Registration and account creation is free.
Once you are a member of the website, and you have your own account, you can install many third party games and applications. Some are useful applications with practical functions, while others provide hours and hours of enjoyment. Hammerfall is a game that provides you with lots of fun.
To start playing the game, you must first activate the game in your account. There are no additional downloads. All you have to do is to proceed to the official Hammerfall web page on MySpace, and you can join the game from there. Of course, you have to be logged in to do so.
Similar to many RPG games, you start with a basic character. Your character will have stats for health, power, energy, stamina, and toughness. But unlike conventional RPG games, you can’t do a lot of influence the increase of the stats. The stats are generated in a passive manner as the game progresses. This means that as a game player, you have to be extra careful about using up your points. Once you use them, you have to wait for the stats to regenerate again.
The Hammerfall game has a massive story line. But it will only be revealed to you as you play the game. You start out from a small little island called Summervale. Once in the game, you should realize that the virtual world (Kalamar Empire) is filled with orcs and goblins. You will have to fight many of these monsters along the way.
But fighting orcs and goblins is the easy part. The difficult part is to fight the big bosses or find specific items needed to advance further in the game. That is where you will need the most help. If you find that there is a boss that you can’t beat, no matter how hard you try or an item you’re unable to find, etc., perhaps it’s time to head over to the Hammerfall forums for some hints and tips.
Since this is a huge virtual world, you may also find yourself getting lost in the midst of the game play. For example, some players don’t know what to do after killing a boss. This happens quite often. More experienced players will be able to provide some guidance and tips.
Finally, you have mazes in the game that you need to overcome. Mazes make the game challenging, but they can also be a source of frustration. You need to know what to do in the mazes. Otherwise, you find yourself using up too much stamina, and you could be wasting valuable time.
Fortunately, guides that offer useful hints and tips are also available. Information is usually provided by other fellow gamers and senior forum members.
