xbox 360 arcade console sales
I need help deciding wich XBOX 360 to buy for my son!?
Walmart has the XBOX Arcade on sale for $199. I want to buy it for my 7 yr old son who is into all these games like Halo n stuff. I need to make sure that it’s the one to buy tho cuz I don’t have a lot of money n won’t be able to buy another console for awhile. Could someone please help me buy recommending what I should do. I don’t think we will really go online to play games but….u never know right! Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!! Thank u!!
Halo (1, 2 or 3) is not a game that 7 year old children should be playing. No offense, I love the Xbox and all but Halo is definitely not age-appropriate. That game is designed for the adult and teenage market.
If he was 17, I’d say go for it and buy Halo, but a 7 year old should be playing Viva Pinata, not games rated T or M. Kodu (which you can download for a couple dollars) is another good game for kids, and it’s fun enough for adults too.
I don’t know that it matters too much what version of the Xbox you get, because as long as you have some storage space for games and don’t care much about the online experience it’ll be fine. So you could go cheap if it’s just your son that will be using it.
Another option is the Wii, you may want to check out the link below to decide on the Xbox. The Nintendo Wii is a bit more interactive and would help your son expend extra energy.
